It's a common retort among those who organize tech and business panels and assemble the "best of" lists in tech; that hire at small to large tech firms or who fund startups: "We can't find any black women in tech".

Tech Inclusion advocate, attorney, blogger and digital media publisher Jeneba Jalloh Ghatt has curated list of very active black and African American women on Twitter in 2016 who are experienced coders, developers, software engineers, hackers, gamers, coders, tech evangelists, StartUp Founders and the like.

Here is a start and jumping off point so that excuse doesn't have to be used again.

Hit them up! Follow and learn from the events they are hosting, attending, or supporting; and the news about other founders, and leaders in the field who are excelling but not getting their news trumpeted as loudly as it should.

For a more detailed version that includes the Twitter bios and a hyperlink directly to these accounts, find it at Jenebaspeaks.com. Search "161".
